Before you make any decisions, compare the price and build quality of your alternatives. We did and were quite surprised what we found. Don't settle for shower trays made from lightweight materials that crack and cannot be adjusted for level, cheap rollers on doors, small seats moulded in flimsy panels that bend and cheap shower equipment - they don't last and will look tired very quickly. Remember, you'll have to live with your choice for quite some time!

Quality doesn't have to mean expensive either.

To test the logic take a mirror into the shower. How many seconds does it take before you can't see your reflection? And electronic equipment, how many plumbers or merchants possess the specialist knowledge to diagnose (let alone mend or change) equipment when it goes faulty? It might all seem like a cracking idea and may impress your guests for sure (well it might!!?) but the realities of ownership are likely to leave you somewhat short of the illusion. A broken shower won't look quite so impressive to your friends!
