Mira 8 Shower Spares |
| The Mira 8 is a
model of manually controlled mixer shower valve. The model was superseded by
the Mira 88. The service pack number 935.16 is available which comprises a
set of 'o' rings which will help to keep this fairly elderly model going for
a little longer. Manual shower mixers are not particularly popular these days as they cannot deal with the dynamics of mains pressure systems or combi boilers too well. Whilst manual valves are still available (although rare) the pressure balancing valve, or better still the thermostatic valve have just about taken over. There is little point in buying a manual valve these days. |
