An alcove or recess can be
tricky to utilise for the purpose of a shower unless you use
a purpose made alcove shower pod.
In fact, there are occasions
when simple construction of a third wall to create an alcove
actually lends itself to the aesthetics of a room - often
creating more usable wall space.
The alcove pod differs from
the more common corner model by having three internal wall
panels, each moulded to provide a seat or shelves.
The beauty of the leak free
design is peace of mind that there won't be any trickles of
water finding their way into the furthest and most difficult
to access corners.
This single panel pivot door
model offers clean simple lines. The wall panels are easy to
clean and the glass is treated with Crystal Clear to
inhibit the growth of bacteria and lime scale.
The version illustrated is the
Hydro Massage pivot door recess model that boasts
thermostatic shower equipment, rotoshower jets, body jets
and neck massage jets. There are roof panel options
available that include overhead shower rose and steam
generator (steam dome includes touch screen remote control
to programme steam generator, and operate RDS radio, clock
and alarm).
A basic cubicle is of course
available with just thermostatic shower equipment and the
option for a plain roof panel.
