Notes on Orders and Payment

Home >

There are good reasons for this.

Firstly, although we embrace the technology with which we work (the internet) we believe in good old fashioned service - where you deal with a person, rather than just a machine.

Although to some this might seem archaic, it serves well in the area of business we are in.

The plumbing industry can be notoriously complicated. It is therefore easy to make an innocent mistake which can either result in you ordering and/or using the wrong thing, or involve time consuming and costly returns. We can normally offer advice at the time of order to help avoid such issues and confirm stock availability and lead times. Our method also gives you the opportunity to speak to us and ask any questions you may have.

Secondly and more importantly, your security is of paramount importance. If you do not send your card details over the internet or have them stored electronically it is proven that you are less likely to become a victim of fraud.

Our system enjoys an A+++ security rating as no sensitive data (your card details) is transmitted or stored either on the internet or on a machine connected to the internet. This involves more work for us, but it ensures your information cannot be stolen or hacked. We are a rare entity as most websites opt for the easy way and use 'shopping cart systems' that can never be 100% secure. Our method is.

We speak with every one of our customers, so even if somebody tried to use your card information unlawfully they could not do so anonymously.

For your convenience and peace of mind we will contact you promptly upon receipt of your order. For this reason It is important that you provide information on how you may be contacted during business hours as well as at home. Confirmation of your requirements, availability and total order value will be confirmed together with a unique order number.

If you are eligible for VAT Relief it is important that you bring this to our attention when placing your order. Failure to do so may result in VAT (at the prevailing rate) being charged. Should you wish to claim relief from VAT, under Group 14 of Schedule 5 to the Value Added Tax Act 1983 your order must be accompanied by a fully completed Eligibility Declaration. Please click here for Declaration Form . Please ensure you read accompanying notes before seeking relief.

If you wish to pay by Credit Card, Cheque or other means you should complete the order form and indicate the preferred method of payment then click the 'send order' button at the end of this form. We will then have an accurate advance record of your requirements prior to calling you. You are of course welcome to pay by your preferred method.

If you would prefer to fax or mail your order you are welcome. You might like to print the order page (click the print icon on the order page) once you have completed it.
