| With great pleasure IFS
added sponsorship to the Pro-Am Golf Tournament at Waterlooville Golf Club,
Hampshire.
Approaching it's centenary year, the
Championship length Waterlooville course offers a demanding woodland setting
to test the very best Professionals and Amateur golfers from the south of
England.
With the course in it's usual pristine
condition, the event offered prizes for both Pro and Amateur status -
including a Toyota Car for a 'hole-in-one' and 'nearest the pin' on all par
3's.
Youngest competitor - James Foster (age 12) -
represented the IFS Team entry. Playing with a handicap of 7 and
playing with the talented professional David Fisher from the Ellesborough
Golf Club, James helped the team finish a creditable 5th in a field of 48.
The second IFS team SANIFLO -
Keith Conway (Capt), Keith Osler, Andy Mitchell with Pro Ben Willman from
Farnham - put up a great challenge and enjoyed the hospitality of the club
for the day. |
